She holds a bachelors degree in Sociology from Delhi University and a masters in Development Management from Madras School of Social Work. She is a Malayali who has lived and worked across the country.

Her work experience has been diverse, having worked with organisations such as NITI Aayog, National Alliance of People’s Movements, British Council and so on.
